Privacy Policy

App: Fakarni  ·  Effective date: 18 May 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Fakarni mobile application (package net.todo.fakarni, the “App”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use it on your Android device. Fakarni is a personal task and reminder manager developed by Ahmed Nasser (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”).

1. Information We Collect

Fakarni is designed to be privacy-friendly. The App does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal identifier to use.

1.1 Data you create in the App

This content is stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to our servers, and we have no ability to read it.

1.2 Diagnostic and usage data (Firebase)

The App uses Google Firebase services to keep the App stable and to understand how features are used in aggregate:

These services are operated by Google. The data they collect is handled in accordance with Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. We do not link this data to your identity, and we do not sell it.

2. Permissions We Request

The App does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, SMS, call logs, or files.

3. How We Use Information

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. The only third party that may receive diagnostic and usage data is Google (Firebase), as described above. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

5. Data Retention

Tasks and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. Firebase diagnostic data is retained according to Google’s retention policies (typically up to 14 months for Analytics events and up to 90 days for Crashlytics records).

6. Children’s Privacy

Fakarni is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Security

Your task data is stored in the App’s private storage area on your device, which is protected by the Android operating system. Data sent to Firebase is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard information.

8. Your Choices and Rights

9. International Data Transfers

Firebase services may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. By using the App you consent to such transfers, which are protected by Google’s contractual and technical safeguards.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
